It’s nice to see “Jerry” put to good use, calmly reading when a knock brings an orphan named “Nibbles” into his life. Given how quickly it moves around, this newcomer might be connected to "Speedy," but it requires milk. Naturally, “Tom” has the milk, and he's not inclined to share. The predictable chaos begins as “Jerry” attempts to get food for a little one who appears willing to eat practically anything! While I didn’t find this quite as entertaining because it focuses on the two mice investigating the dinner table instead of their typical cat-and-mouse games, things do pick up toward the very end when chief "Tom" encounters an equal – and he's doubled in speed.
