I really wanted to like _The Little Hours_, and it genuinely seemed likely I would. Sadly, that wasn't the outcome. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s awful; in fact, it surpasses many of the American comedies I’ve seen lately. However, my time with the film was more along the lines of “interesting,” or “different,” or even just “okay” instead of genuinely "good." I'm glad Aubrey Plaza and Alison Brie are employed (particularly when it’s not something like _Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates_ or _Get Hard_), but I felt a bit let down by _The Little Hours_. _Final rating:★★½ - It had elements that attracted me, but ultimately didn’t quite come together._
