Spending time with an assassin! It’s another British dark comedy-thriller in the vein of films like 'Wild Target', 'I Hired a Contract Killer,' and now this one—movies I really enjoy because of their chases, mishaps, and occasionally risky situations. The narrative follows what happens over 24 hours to Adam, an easygoing 19 year old. After he begins working as a driver for a hitman, he encounters numerous problems, and the rest of the story is about how he manages to deal with them. Jack O'Connell seems to be having a great run lately, appearing in films like 'Starred Up,' '71', and ‘Unbroken,’ which received three Academy Award nominations. I think this film could mark an important shift for him. In his previous roles, he seemed somewhat detached, but here he demonstrates considerable potential. He’s now being recognized as a rising young British star, and Hollywood is starting to take notice; it won't be long before he establishes himself there. It’s unfortunate that the promotional materials and online ratings don't do justice to the film. It turned out to be considerably better than what those suggest. The beginning was somewhat gradual, but after a few minutes, it became an entirely different, very entertaining movie. Considering its limited budget, small cast, and solid story, the final product is surprisingly good. 7/10
