While angling near the water, Ollie notices in the paper that wealthy Ebenezer Laurel has passed away. Could Stan possibly be related? They then travel to a disturbing house to investigate whether they might inherit part of the $3m inheritance. Upon arrival, a powerful storm increases the tension as it becomes apparent that perhaps the deceased’s death was not straightforward. This installment features a more developed narrative and reduced comedic elements; there's greater attention paid to the personalities involved, and the characters—Frank Austin is particularly effective and unsettling as the butler! The sound design is also excellent – did thunderstorms actually sound like this?
