The film undergoes shifts in genre, moving from an exploration of solitude to a survival horror scenario before concluding with elements suggesting something beyond our world. This kind of shift is unusual and difficult to execute successfully, yet this movie manages it effectively because the audience becomes attached to the characters. Their performances are strong, and the direction allows them to feel authentic rather than overshadowed by the plot. The challenging circumstances they face are integrated into the narrative in a skillful way, enhanced by impactful visual effects that create genuine fear. It might not become a classic, but it’s definitely worth seeing.
