The Lair manages to stay consistently entertaining throughout its runtime. It sticks with a straightforward monster-versus-human narrative, which brought some Resident Evil comparisons to mind, maintaining a good pace filled with action sequences and gunfire. There are moments where it feels somewhat ridiculous, though that's probably to be expected given the nature of the film.
