It manages to offer a few amusing moments, though it comes across as if various scenes were simply joined together to create what’s being presented as a storyline. The performances from Turturro, Cannavale, and Tautou are strong, and Hamm is also quite good; however, the rest of the actors don't measure up. Having recently seen Turturro’s Name of the Rose—a truly flawless film—I was looking forward to this one, but it didn't live up to expectations. Unless you consider yourself a devoted fan of Turturro’s work, I suggest finding something else to watch; your time would be better spent elsewhere.
