"The Imposters" is a psychological thriller that explores ideas about identity, how much we rely on others, and the weakness of connections between people. The story centers on Maya, portrayed by Marie Everett with a quiet sensitivity, who's trying to move past a recent separation from her girlfriend. While she’s working through those feelings, Maya encounters Hattie, a woman who seems very appealing and self-assured, and whose charm quickly draws Maya in. However, as things progress, Maya starts uncovering hints that Hattie isn't being truthful about who she is, which kicks off a surprising and unsettling series of occurrences. It’s worth seeing. 4/5 stars.
