This reimagining of the earlier "Bedtime Story" from 1964 feels entirely devoid of social awareness and is both crude and vulgar. With just a touch more refinement, it might have been an enjoyable twist on familiar roles; as it stands, the film comes across as awkward and lacking in sophistication. The beautiful scenery doesn't improve things at all. I rarely walk out of movies before they’re over, but this one almost pushed me to do so.
