I found myself enjoying many aspects of this film. The dialogue has a cleverness to it, and there's a genuine spark between the potential pairings, despite Amanda and Graham experiencing a somewhat stilted initial connection. Arthur, along with the two kids, also contributes positively to the narrative’s richness. My primary reservation concerns their use of that familiar romantic comedy trope—when characters become physically intimate before developing affection. The film manages to move past this early point, but I believe there might have been a more imaginative approach to portraying the relationship's challenges and subsequent need for repair. Perhaps it’s just my perspective, but ultimately I did like the movie; while I don’t foresee revisiting it, it proved to be an enjoyable experience.
