The performances from the main actors are commendable, however, the film just didn’t click with me personally. This concept has been explored numerous times, and I haven't encountered an instance where it was truly executed well. _The Hole in the Ground_ hasn’t altered my perspective on that matter, and the narrative began to feel quite predictable around the middle. While I did find elements of merit in _The Hole in the Ground_, I'm unable to offer a wholehearted endorsement. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
