It’s surprisingly captivating and uplifting to see the tall, good-looking OJC playing an electrician who starts up a business in a quiet community—a place where people believe he possesses healing abilities. The story unfolds with the involvement of his uncle, Jonathan Pryce, revealing a kernel of truth within this narrative, which leads him to confront difficult emotional challenges as he grapples with his newfound circumstances. It's important not to mistake this gentle fantasy for anything suggesting harmful or deceptive medical practices; thankfully, director Paco Arango makes it very clear that the entire premise is purely imaginative and fanciful. There’s a developing romantic connection alongside some poignant scenes featuring a young girl facing a serious illness, all set against a backdrop of pleasant landscapes.
