The acting is reasonably strong, and the special effects were acceptable considering when it was made, but ultimately it’s a disappointing film. I first watched this some time back, and my feelings haven't changed at all; I still didn’t enjoy it. It's easy to understand now why Spielberg had his involvement distanced from it. **2.0/5**
