It's genuinely enjoyable to watch this comedy. The jokes come frequently enough to be funny, but not so often that they become overwhelming. While the story centers around a Jewish mother and her adult child, it doesn’t feel limited by that; thankfully, because the humor is something anyone can appreciate. The connection between Babs and Seth is remarkable. They seem completely authentic as a son and his mom who's skilled at using guilt to get what she wants.
