Going into this, don't expect anything special; it’s just another standard Netflix offering where unremarkable projects gather an audience. Yet again, we're presented with a spy action film. The previous one was *Kate*, which also felt like a generic entry in that genre. It doesn’t bring anything fresh to the table. Everything this movie does has been done before. We see highly capable operatives, intricately planned fight sequences, deceptive maneuvers, nameless characters, an organization that disposes of its own people, disposable strike teams, numerous conspiracies, and lots of action. However, I did find Gosling’s performance enjoyable in isolation; he maintains a detached demeanor throughout. It's disappointing that he's burdened by a script filled with clichés from beginning to end. Ana de Armas is also appearing everywhere these days, quickly resembling Tom Holland in terms of ubiquity—an actress who seems to be exploited within the Hollywood system and will eventually fade into obscurity. Despite all this, it’s an acceptable popcorn movie if you go in without any expectations. It provides entertainment on a basic level.
