A group of young people in The Ghost Game participate in a ritual intended to contact spirits, dismissing potential dangers as insignificant. While the initial concept and beginning suggest a story centered on emotional horror, underdeveloped characters and awkward conversations lessen the suspense as events progress. There are some visually striking scenes within the movie, but because there’s not enough investment in what happens to the people involved, the scary parts don't linger in your mind.
