It’s frustrating how carelessly _The Gallows_ employed the “Found Footage” approach, and that's a shame because the film itself wasn’t particularly strong to begin with. So, when I began watching _Act II_—or rather, after roughly five or ten minutes—I noticed they stopped using that style, and I figured it had to be at least an improvement over the first one. It seems like even though _Act II_ eliminated my main issue with its predecessor, it ended up being even less enjoyable. Final rating:★ - Of no value. Avoid at all costs.
