It might not have stood the test of time perfectly, yet it remains quite absurd and intricately plotted in a pleasing fashion. It gives off the impression of being a parody, though I’m uncertain what exactly it's poking fun at; perhaps it’s simply presented with a gentle touch despite dealing with serious themes. Twenty years have passed since my last viewing of The Frighteners, and I imagine I could wait roughly that long before revisiting it, but I still consider it to be worth your time. _Final rating:★★★ - I liked it. Would personally recommend you give it a go._
