Virtually every aspect of the film's production is remarkable, leading some to describe it as a "technical masterpiece," and the acting is excellent throughout. However, the common complaint about prioritizing style over substance unfortunately applies here. The sheer number of Anderson’s signature touches compounds what was already a rather dull story, resulting in emotionally flat characters and an extremely complicated narrative that's difficult to follow.
