It's true that *The Forest* had a promising premise, but it didn’t quite come together; the direction was lacking and the movie relied too heavily on cheap jump scares, which ultimately made it fall flat. The resolution also felt disappointing. I will say Natalie Dormer is easy on the eyes, though.
