I suspect the sailor the story is named after wouldn’t be thrilled with how these artists have depicted him! He’s walking around Halifax when a sudden blast—apparently caused by two ships bumping into each other—launches him upwards, removes his clothing, and deposits him in a tree about 3 kilometers away. Throughout the narrative, we see glimpses of his childhood and time at sea, accompanied by a pleasant musical score from Luigi Allemano that maintains a steady pace. While I don't particularly care for this particular animation style—I would have liked to see more realistic body shapes—apparently he was also shown wearing boots, which didn’t happen here. It is easy enough to watch, but ultimately not memorable, unfortunately.
