This movie, *The Fly*, really works. It feels like a glimpse into the future that had an impact on games like *Fallout*. The practical effects are incredible and enjoyable to watch. People who are bothered by gore should probably skip this one. It’s strange they didn't start with something smaller—like using flies for initial tests, rather than jumping straight to human-sized machines and baboons. Those animals must cost a fortune; even mice would have been better. The absurdity of it all is what makes the film so enjoyable. The actors are great and add to the story. That actor is wonderfully awful. It's a movie that keeps you interested and involved, which isn’t something you see often. I love science. Gena Davis looks fantastic. I would certainly be attracted to Brundleflymly.
