The movie started out promising, maybe a solid three-quarters of the way through, but the final section became too absurd to believe. Despite this, both De Niro and Snipes gave decent performances, even if they weren't at their absolute best; it was clear they were putting effort into their roles rather than just going through the motions, which hasn’t always been the case recently. It's also remarkable that Major League Baseball would permit licensing deals like this, showing a fan—though possibly a psychopath or sociopath—being depicted in this manner. **2.75/5**
