It was certainly enjoyable, although I hoped for a bit more from *'The Fall Guy'*. The performers are excellent; that’s the film’s greatest strength, in my view. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt make a superb team, and I liked them both – they had good chemistry. Hannah Waddingham and Aaron Taylor-Johnson also deliver solid performances. Stephanie Hsu and Winston Duke appear as well. The plot delivers amusement, even if it might have benefited from more personality. There were moments when I felt the movie lingered too long, not in a bad way, but enough to prevent me from giving it a higher rating. The stunts are fantastic, which is what you’d expect given the premise. It's funny, and some of my favorite parts involved the background actors; shout-out to my wife’s sister’s guy. I did like this film. There was room for improvement, but what they have is perfectly acceptable – it’s an easy one to watch, really.
