While not unique in Indonesia's zombie film landscape, this one feels like the most well-made so far. It really seemed poised to be exceptional—it’s disappointing that the final product lacks depth. There's plenty of graphic content and a striking visual style, plus it incorporates elements of local traditions. I would have liked to see more attention paid to the Jamu aspect; developing that further could have distinguished it from other zombie movies. However, I did appreciate the character development—they’re portrayed with considerable nuance. It's unfortunate that this element wasn't given greater care. More realistic conversations and relationships might have amplified the emotional impact of their struggle for survival, making the film feel more substantial overall.
