I’m genuinely impressed; this was far better than I anticipated. To be direct, *The Dressmaker* is excellent filmmaking. It's lively and engaging, and I really appreciated the overall tone – with its oddities, humor, and moments of genuine brilliance. The initial scenes are particularly strong, although I did sense a slight lull in the middle. Still, unexpectedly, it recovers quickly, finishing with a truly satisfying conclusion. Kate Winslet delivers a superb performance from start to finish, though she’s supported by an equally impressive cast, including Judy Davis and Hugo Weaving. Liam Hemsworth, Alison Whyte, and Geneviève Lemon also appear. It's a wonderful film, full of unexpected developments and featuring a truly memorable musical score. I really enjoyed it!
