This film deserves more recognition than it gets; it's truly remarkable. It represents Oliver Stone at his peak, featuring some exceptional acting. Val Kilmer is outstanding portraying Jim Morrison, and many would say Meg Ryan delivers one of her finest performances. There are also memorable appearances by several others, like Billy Idol. Kyle MacLachlan does a wonderful job as Ray Manzarek, and Michael Madsen has a part as well. I really enjoyed it. "IS EVERYBODY IN.."
