The premise behind *’The Door'* is certainly intriguing, but its delivery falls short. Initially, I found myself curious about the direction the story would take. Unfortunately, it quickly stumbled and became surprisingly lackluster. The acting from Mads Mikkelsen—whose German dialogue was, to my frustration, dubbed by Ingo Hülsmann—and Jessica Schwarz, though adequate, doesn’t elevate the film, nor do any other aspects of this 2009 production. Ultimately, it's a letdown; I doubt I will remember it for long.
