The performances really lift this movie considerably. While I don’t have any major complaints about the other aspects of *'The Devil Wears Prada,'* I honestly can’t say I would have liked it nearly as much if not for the actors involved. Meryl Streep is superb in her depiction of Miranda, and Anne Hathaway provides a great counterpoint as Andrea. Emily Blunt is also fun to watch as Emily, and Stanley Tucci does well with his role as Nigel. I've never really been that invested in the storyline itself; it can feel somewhat repetitive at times. Nevertheless, because of Streep and her colleagues, it remains a film I would recommend seeing.
