It's genuinely enjoyable to see that THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2 manages to be a delightful continuation of the story, skillfully blending familiar feelings from the early 2000s with contemporary sensibilities. The actors’ connection feels just as strong as it did before, and Stanley Tucci is particularly memorable in his role. A clever script provides plenty of humor and gorgeous costumes enhance the viewing experience; the movie addresses shifts happening within the media industry in a believable way. Although there's a point where the story loses some momentum due to storylines involving business dealings, it’s still an amusing and timely revisiting of the original film.
