The filmmakers managed to create something impressive given the apparent constraints of their resources, and the movie largely lives up to what it sets out to do... with one significant exception at the very end. However, that final letdown actually suggests you’ve been thoroughly engaged—and probably quite frightened—throughout, mainly because you'll want more of what preceded it. A more satisfying conclusion would have elevated this into a truly excellent horror film, capable of surpassing movies like 'Paranormal' and 'Emily Rose,' for the most part. The ending, unfortunately, brings it down somewhat, though only to their standard. It’s definitely still worth seeing, but an extended version that resolves things more completely could substantially improve how this film is viewed.
