Given the current circumstances surrounding Bill Cosby and the serious allegations against him, I've become curious about exploring some of his older work, both in film and on record from earlier in his career. This movie functions as an agreeable, somewhat ironic Disney comedy released prior to his enormous popularity with 'The Cosby Show'. Looking back, I regret not purchasing a couple of jazz recordings he created alongside Quincy Jones when I saw them at a London music shop some years ago; I suspect those would have been considerably more engaging than this film turned out to be.
