I just couldn’t get through this movie. The basic idea has potential; it centers around a man whose wife dies, and he then needs to reconnect with the daughters they had grown apart from. It seems like something that would appeal to a female audience, and clearly many women enjoyed it—though not solely because of George Clooney's presence. I’m usually a fan of his performances, but the film is so badly made that even he struggles to deliver anything worthwhile. There are simply too many better films available to spend time on this one.
