It’s hard to say anything positive about _The Dead Don't Die_; the fact that I chuckled just once is practically a compliment. While I don’t consider Jim Jarmusch to be perfect, I still anticipated something better than this. People might suggest my expectations were unfair, but it doesn’t seem unreasonable to want a horror movie to generate some fear, a comedy to elicit laughter, or a well-regarded director's attempt at horror comedy to offer at least a small amount of one or the other. _Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible._
