It's unusual to see a film with one prominent actor surrounded by performers who are all recognizable, even if they aren't household names. _The Day_ didn't live up to my initial expectations based on what I knew about it beforehand; however, it turned out to be more enjoyable than I initially thought after watching the beginning. Final rating:★★½ - There were many aspects that resonated with me, but ultimately it didn’t fully succeed as a complete piece.
