The movie *The Damned* establishes an appropriate atmosphere and benefits from strong performances by the actors involved; it’s a decent film with a reasonable length of about 90 minutes. Of course, there are problems—I felt that the storyline became somewhat predictable at times—but generally I found it enjoyable. I hadn't heard of Odessa Young before now, but seeing her act was a positive surprise. Siobhan Finneran is another performer who’s new to me and adds value to the film. Joe Cole and Rory McCann, whose work I know already, also deliver solid performances.
