It's uncommon for the concept of zombies rejoining civilization to be treated with sincerity; however, _The Cured_ takes this approach with utmost seriousness. While commendable performances help carry the film, I found myself struggling to remain fully engaged throughout its runtime. The movie had elements that resonated with me, but ultimately it didn’t quite succeed as a complete package. Final rating:★★½
