I had mixed feelings about *’The Crow: Salvation'* while watching it, but the more I reflect on it, the clearer it is that I did ultimately find it enjoyable. It took me a long time to connect with Eric Mabius in his role as the central figure, yet by the film's conclusion, I appreciated his portrayal – it’s perfectly acceptable. Kirsten Dunst makes for an intriguing addition to the cast, and so does Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, who previously appeared in *'Prison Break'*. Fred Ward delivers a dependable performance, likely the best part of the movie outside of or alongside Mabius’s work. This is certainly better than *'The Crow: City of Angels,'* which was rather disappointing. The narrative felt closer to the initial film here, even though it still doesn't measure up in terms of quality and style; there are enough changes but also a few references to earlier events. I appreciate how they provide an explanation for the main character’s appearance in this installment. Deciding on a rating was difficult—I went back and forth between 6/10 and 7/10. Ultimately, I settled on the higher score.
