It was really good, especially considering what happened behind the cameras. Before now, all I knew about *'The Crow'* involved the problems with Brandon Lee during filming; I recently discovered it’s a superhero movie, because I always thought it was just a horror film. It felt like a perfect time to watch it, with the new version having just been released... I need to check out the rest of the series first! Brandon Lee gives a powerful performance, and Ernie Hudson was also great in my opinion. Everyone else involved is good too, particularly Rochelle Davis and Michael Wincott. I don't have any significant criticisms of this movie; it nails the atmosphere – both visually, with its music and overall mood—it really captures that Evanescence/Bring Me to Life and Gotham City feel.
