I recently saw Resident Evil, and while I wasn’t really in the mood for something similar, that doesn’t mean I didn't enjoy it. It turned out to be a solid film; the storyline was agreeable, the performances were strong, and there were some genuinely amusing moments. The romantic aspect of the story was understated, which helped make the characters seem real. That was well done.
