This movie is really something else – and not in a good way. It feels like an extended installment of "Buffy," but crafted by someone who doesn’t seem to understand how to build tension, and the direction isn't much better. It brought to mind what I would expect from a film like "The Covenant" (2006), and I honestly have no idea why David Duchovny is involved. To me, it’s far too weak for a theatrical run; it feels like an unnecessary project that would be more at home on a daytime show aimed at teenagers.
