This is really good! It isn’t exactly like 2015’s *Bridge of Spies*, but *The Courier* proves to be a fantastic movie involving MI6, the CIA, and the KGB. Both films deal with stories set during the Cold War era, though the earlier one edges this out by just a bit. Nevertheless, both boast remarkable performances from their main actors. Benedict Cumberbatch is superb all the way through, particularly as the film progresses—that shaved head really works for him; I’d love to see him play a drug lord with that look! Seriously though, I believe this might be my favorite performance of his so far – it's absolutely brilliant. Merab Ninidze (who also had a small part in *Bridge of Spies*) delivers an excellent portrayal, as he does in the television series *McMafia*. Jessie Buckley’s contribution is noteworthy too, which speaks volumes about her talent considering she isn’t present for much of the runtime. The film moves along skillfully, creating compelling suspense and showcasing some truly impressive acting. It's a wonderful movie!
