"The Couch Trip" finds its strength in the humor, making it genuinely funny to see Dan Aykroyd portraying Doctor Baird and confidently taking over Doctor Maitlin's traditional call-in radio program with his unique style. The experience feels akin to witnessing Ken Kesey’s memorable character Randal P. McMurphy unleashed on a larger scale than what was possible with just an illegal fishing excursion aboard a boat.
