The opening scenes are exceptionally well-crafted, and there's a moment involving the daughter following her confirmation that was deeply affecting. There’s considerably more familial distress explored here than in earlier installments. The timing of the startling moments is remarkably effective, creating an unsettling atmosphere—and this occurs within just the initial half hour. It’s like receiving a present that continues to deliver unpleasantness. Having spent over four decades watching countless films, I can say this one evokes a stronger emotional response than any horror movie I've encountered before. A significant amount of care and attention clearly went into making it, and acknowledging its success is well-deserved. It’s frightening, disturbing, and filled with an overwhelming sense of dread for everyone connected to the story. This is easily the strongest entry in the series so far.
