It seems to have become more accessible than when it began as an exclusive group. Honestly, this is the dullest movie I’ve encountered in over a year. There are films that others deem terrible that I've found enjoyable. I like taking risks, but this one genuinely surprised me—it’s my least favorite from 2015 so far. I generally try to be respectful of movies and filmmaking, and I almost decided not to review it rather than write negative comments about it. However, I then realized I haven't written much about the films I didn’t like. It felt wrong to remain neutral because I keep a record of my reviews and want to have examples of all types—good, bad, average—for my collection. I’ve never identified as an atheist or a believer; I simply consider myself a form of life on Earth, so my perspective isn't influenced by religious beliefs. This drama centered around corrupt priests wasn't what I anticipated. The core concept was appealing, but the film itself didn't work for me. It was Chile’s submission for the Oscars recently held, and it shared similarities with 'Spotlight,' which won the top prize, but it didn’t even make it to the final nominations. If this were based on true events, I would have reacted differently. They attempted a dark comedy, which I didn't find particularly well-executed. There were a few decent moments, though, and they weren't enough to convince me otherwise. It seems like most people who’ve seen the movie are praising it; perhaps I’m just an outlier here deserving of negative ratings—so come on, everyone! Give it your vote! 3/10
