The story employs a technique common in some television programs, where certain characters are designated to provide explanations. A familiar example would be Velma from Scooby Doo, whose role is essentially to recap plot developments that the audience might have overlooked. This film feels like an abundance of those kinds of characters. Nearly every person delivers a bit of explanation or offers a lecture. As a result, it’s difficult to connect with them; they lack authenticity. The personalities, whether they are meant to be heroes or villains, all come across as artificial and delivered in a flat, emotionless way. It's genuinely unpleasant to experience.
