This action movie from Korea feels pretty typical, though the infrequent bursts of intense violence did make it somewhat entertaining. It seems the writer missed opportunities to develop things that should have been straightforward. We meet the central figure as a boxer, but that aspect of his background ultimately didn't factor into the story; this was just one instance among several. Frequently, attempts at portraying characters as "cool" ended up feeling corny because the world and the people in it weren’t fleshed out enough.
