"The Calendar Killer" didn't quite live up to expectations. It seemed hurried from the very beginning; the initial development felt glossed over, and the movie jumped quickly into what turned out to be a fairly standard plot. The story itself lacked substance, so it was simple to anticipate how events would unfold without any unexpected turns. The final portion of the film also failed to deliver anything substantial, resulting in an unfinished impression. Although there were some visually appealing scenes, they weren't enough to make up for the shortcomings. The performances felt unnatural and didn’t ring true, which made it difficult to become invested in the characters. Ultimately, this is a forgettable thriller that doesn’t distinguish itself from others of its kind. It showed promise but fell short because of its reliance on familiar conventions and an inability to create suspense. Had there been more focus on character development and a gradual progression, it possibly could have been more captivating. As it stands, the film comes across as hastily made, with appealing visuals being its only noteworthy quality.
