A genuinely enjoyable film that I’d happily watch again and suggest to others. It turns out Melissa Rauch was the standout on “Big Bang Theory” all along. Rauch delivers an exceptional performance, demonstrating her versatility with both crude comedy and intense dramatic elements, handling it effortlessly. The character of the "angry jerk" becomes tiresome fairly quickly, but thankfully the film alters this trait as it progresses, preventing it from being completely off-putting; for every bit Rauch contributes, Haley Lu Richardson responds with a portrayal of a “happy idiot,” creating an enjoyable contrast. Sebastian Stan deserves recognition for his contribution to one of the most remarkable sex scenes I’ve encountered—and its appeal isn't about explicit content. It was both humorous and beautiful in addition to being sensual. The movie is comedic, but there are moments where you find yourself laughing despite the film itself; it possesses a unique brand of dark humor.
