I recall seeing this film when it was released on DVD initially; back then, my impression was that it was merely passable. But with some perspective gained through life events and experiences in committed relationships, I find myself valuing it considerably more presently. Setting aside the humorous elements, the movie offers lessons about understanding oneself and the necessity of open dialogue, which is something I respect. The performers both delivered strong portrayals, and as someone who enjoys their work, I was favorably struck by what they brought to their characters. If you're in a situation where you feel like you’ve already viewed countless movies and this one has somehow escaped your attention, it would be worthwhile to check it out.
